Two-stage project
In August 2022, HERGEN installed the Size Press with stainless steel frames, increasing the equipment lifespan and reducing the maintenance costs. The 1,500 mm diameter application rolls maximize the quality of the starch application.
In this first stage, the press operated with the pond starch application system. Now, with HERGEN’s SMART SIZER Applicators, we have implemented a hybrid system (pound + Film Press), improving the standards of excellence and performance.
