The CTec HERGEN was created with the purpose of training young talents as industrial technical professionals, prepared for the challenges of the metalworking industry, offering hands-on, highly specialized training aligned with the real needs of the market.

According to Professor Edson Adriano Porto, responsible for the CTec HERGEN training plan, the general competency of the course is: “To work in an integrated way in manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, fabrication, and the assembly of machinery and equipment, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of mechanical projects, performing activities in accordance with technical norms, quality standards, occupational health and safety requirements, and current environmental legislation.”

“We want to train industrial technical professionals who can work directly on the production line with specialized technical knowledge and a solid professional attitude. It is a contribution both to HERGEN and to the development of industry in the region,” says Luciano Bento, Production Manager at HERGEN.

CTec HERGEN Differentials

The CTec HERGEN is part of the Converge to the Future program, reinforcing the company’s commitment to social sustainability. By training young talent, the initiative promotes inclusion, generates opportunities, and develops the community, strengthening the technical training of these professionals and contributing to the local industrial chain, preparing them in an ethical and responsible manner for the future of the industry and HERGEN.

HERGEN’s training program will begin in March 2026, with the selection process scheduled for 2025.

With this initiative, HERGEN reaffirms its role as a company that not only develops technology for paper manufacturing but also invests in training people and building a more solid, sustainable, and innovative future for the industry.
